 Hi! Hope the start of your week was fab!! Ours was very nice, we had a small get together and the weather was beautiful! As you may or may not know I love Art. I also love using cheap supplies whenever I can and if I am lucky, I reuse items. In this case I did not reuse the toilet paper but had a lot of fun making paper and a mold. The paper is a bit thicker than I like to add into a journal but will be perfect for the background on an art journal page or ATC Background. I made a small video on this and adding Mod Podge just makes this a bit more sturdier. I love ModPodge!!!! I will be making a video using the proper methods to making sheets of paper to be used in your journal to write or draw on in a video next week. Hi Guys!! I hope that December has been treating you all well. Today, I am going to show you how I made a Countdown to Christmas Grinch Wall Hanging. I am making this for my nephew who is almost 6 years old and is getting very impatient waiting on Christmas and Santa Claus. Below are the steps I used along with a few photos and a final picture of the completed wall hanging. I DID NOT come up with this idea on my own, I found the picture on Pinterest and went from there. I used a 10" x 10" wood panel from Plaid Crafts and painted the whole board with an Antique White Acrylic Paint. I did not sand or apply gesso to the wood panel, I went straight in with the paint. Once that was dry I applied two coats of Mod Podge Mega Glitter in Hologram to give the background some pizzazz! I lightly drew the picture and words in pencil once it was dry and started painting the Grinch hand using Folkart Kelly Green Acrylic Paint. His sleeves were painted with Folkart Apple Red Acryl...
